Despite Kosovo's proven compliance with all agreed and required conditions, visa liberalization continues to be opposed by two EU members - France and the Netherlands. Visa liberalization for all other Balkan countries as well as Ukraine, Moldova and Georgia has existed for many years. It is time that the citizens of Kosovo can enter the EU without having to apply for a visa. Conversely, visa-free entry is possible for all EU citizens in Kosovo. This unequal treatment must finally end. The citizens of Kosovo must no longer be isolated. We therefore call for a decision on visa liberalization for Kosovo at the next EU summit in June 2022.
