Stop Anti-Activist Youtube Censorship by LAPD

The Issue

I am an activist for copwatch and yesterday, I came home to find, to dismay, my channel threatened with a termination strike for uploading a youtube video entitled: "Ignorant LAPD Cop Threatening to Throw Me In Jail For Posting His Video to Youtube" for "privacy" issues even though no privacy rules were violated and the only thing mentioned in the video was the cop saying to me that "I know who you are" - referring to me - and that, "the judge said I would be held in contempt of court if I upload videos to youtube". This is totally fraudulent and false.

Here is the video, hosted on Dailymotion: http://www.dailymotion.com/ravenmasterson#video=xr7w25

Youtube usually gives you 48 to 72 hours to combat a privacy violation issue in which they give you time to rectify the situation. As you can see in this video, they gave me no time whatsoever: the video was taken down without warning at 1:56pm on May 30, 2012 without warning. On top of that, youtube usually take at least 2 weeks to review an appeal of the initial decision to take down the video, which I did appeal.

Without so much as even sending me an email, I got a notice that they rejected by appeal.

This is scary.

This sets the dangerous precedent that if a cop doesn't like his image being used or broadcasted on youtube, he can abuse youtube's policies to take it down, which is what LAPD did in this case.

This puts in jeopardy any activist who exposes and reports on police crimes to lose a valuable youtube channel that can expose and make people aware of police crimes and brutality.

Please help me write to youtube to reinstate the video so that LAPD and all other police departments will know that they can not get away with abusing youtube's terms of service system to violate people's first amendment rights.
