My partner, Sarah, and I celebrate 20 years together this year. Seven years ago, we got married in Canada, and we'd love to have that recognised in Australia, but the law won't allow that...yet.  Our three kids, Corin, Scout and Cully would love it, too.

We've lived in the electorate of Kooyong for 12 years and we have always found the people in this area to be extremely supportive of us, our relationship and our family. We would like to get the message across to our local Federal MP, Josh Frydenberg, that the people in his electorate support Marriage Equality and are eager for change.

We've got together with another Kooyong resident, Chris Bush, 22 years old, who is also hoping to see change in the legislation. Chris and his family have always lived in Surrey Hills. He went to Canterbury Primary School and then Carey Grammar in Kew and recently finished a BA in Commerce. He's raced in rowing regattas here and overseas and coaches rowing at Xavier College.

Chris's brother is getting married to his fiancee, Lizzie, in April. Chris would like to be able to do the same one day with the person he loves.

So, this is where you come in. If you live in Kooyong and support the right of Sarah and I, and Chris - and other gay people - to get married - and the right of our kids to have parents who are married - please take a minute to sign the petition below.
