This is vital to the safety and well being of children like my son who are unable to speak and who are prime targets for violent predators because they are unable to speak and therefore cannot provide direct testimony against such offenders allowing their basic human rights to be violated unchecked and worse, allowing these predators to continue their violent sexual crimes against our most vulnerable population. In the case of my son he was also forced out of public school and in addition to his claims being completely ignored has, since the date of reporting these crimes to the school, been denied his right under IDEA to a free and appropriate public education despite the school allowing this predator to take my son off of school grounds on a daily basis absent my knowledge of the same. The school refused to report our claims in accordance with law and policy clearly requiring that they do so. Furthermore, when I did report this to the local law enforcement myself, they refused to investigate their friend on the grounds that my son was unable to tell them directly which is discriminatory at best.
