When the private sector doesn't address and supply the demands of the people, the public government must do so. The government is supposed to serve and represent the general population in all the people's best interests. Government must have the efficient ability to do so. Private industry primarily serves corporate interests and corporate profits. The government by the people must provide consumer protections and regulation of the private sector to ensure the economic efficiency, financial stability, economic security, corporate responsibility, sustainability, growth, and transparency.
