What about MY rights?
What about MY rights?
The Issue
I have worked hard all of my life to do the right thing and even changed my ways to "conform" to what the "majority" wanted and then to what the "minority" wanted and even to all of the seatbelt laws and things, although there is no reasonable fairness to the laws, for instance why should a police agency PROFIT by what I personally choose not to do?
Do they use part of that fine that they collect, to help people who were injured in a car wreck? NO.
Rather than get on a soap box here, why is it that human beings here in america are loosing our God given rights to free speach, there are certain words that others may find offensive and they want to make it illegal to say them? or use them in public? on the internet? ARE YOU KIDDING ME?
Years ago, John Crapper invented the toilet that got nick names that were for years thought to be unacceptable in public (like John, and Crapper, and take a crap) but now all of these are acceptable in public, and they were only a mans name to start with.
Why is it that because of what someone 200 years ago did or said to someone else, 200 years ago, is reason for someone in todays society to gasp in horror to use that same word or phrase?
what if calling my dog a dog, were to make 15 of my 57 neighbors upset at me, because they find THAT word offensive? are we going to make that a "no-no" word too? I hear men call each other "dog" every day, but it's ok because lots of men do this- RIGHT?
My point is simple, you say Dog, and Buddy and whatever You want to say and I will say Man and hey you, and hey boy or what ever I want to say Including the N word if I so desire, and we leave each other alone, fair enough?
