The juvenile justice system in Colorado needs reform. They are letting the D.A. say to "Direct File" meaning send these poor kids to adult jail and punishment. Now no matter the crime a child is a child. They NEED rehab and to be supported so they are able to understand. As well as the victims and all families involved. The choice should  be to not have direct file and to put the choice back to the judges who are not on one side or the other and can make a fair decision. No direct file. The future of our children should not be influenced by votes. But, by a just and fair system that this Country was founded on. The public has been influenced by so many things and they get scared, I understand. But to throw children away and treat them with the same punishment for grown men and women is wrong.
