This is a campaign to draft Hillary Rodham Clinton for President in 2012. Our mission is to communicate our message to everyone we know that Secretary Clinton is the most qualified candidate to be the next President of the United States in 2012. Please sign this petition if you feel the Secretary of State needs to be our next Commander-in-Chief and Leader of the Free World.

It is our goal to show Madam Secretary that the 18 million cracks in the glass ceiling she spoke of in 2008 are still with her and are ready, willing, and able to support her once again. Our hope is to take these numbers to Mrs. Clinton and turn this into a "Draft Hillary Campaign" by encouraging her to seek the Democratic Nomination, while ideally discouraging the current President from seeking re-election.

We the signers of this Petition do not accept the Democratic National Committee's current nominee for President of the United States, Barack Obama.   We have signed this declaration because of the following:

1. 23% real unemployment
2. Health Care Bill: Public Option Taken Off Table Before Negotiations Began; Still No Affordable Health Care
3. Under-funded stimulus
4. Failed Financial Regulation
5. Afghanistan War: The 2011 Exit Turned Into 2014
6. Response to Gulf Oil Spill, or Lack Thereof
7. Response to Haiti Relief
8. Extension of Bush Tax Cuts After Campaign Promise to End Them
9. Threats to cuts in Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security
10. Response to DOMA Unacceptable: Not Defending DOMA does not Equate to Opposing It
11. DADT Response Unacceptable: "Kicking the Can" to Congress is Not Leadership as the Commander-in-Chief; DADT Repeal Still Not Certified

We will under no circumstance cast a vote in a primary or general election for Barack Obama.  If Secretary Clinton is not on the ballot, we vow to request a blank ballot and write in the name of Hillary Clinton as our candidate of choice.

Petition to Draft Hillary Rodham Clinton as the 2012 Democratic Presidential Nominee

Dear Secretary Clinton, DNC Chair Wasserman Schultz, DNC Vice Chairs & Congressional Superdelegates:

We, the undersigned, wish to petition Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to pursue the Democratic Nomination for President in 2012. Her leadership is what this country needs at this crucial time in our nation's history. We urge Secretary Clinton to have the confidence that Senator Robert Kennedy showed in 1968 when he challenged an unpopular President for the Democratic nomination, causing President Lyndon Johnson to withdraw from the race. It is not lost on us that Secretary Clinton once held Bobby Kennedy's United States Senate Seat, and like Senator Kennedy, serves in a President's Cabinet.

We are confident that in face of a challenge by Secretary Clinton for the 2012 nomination, President Obama will feel it his his duty to do the right thing for the party and for the nation and not seek a second term.

We, the signers of this Petition, do not accept the Democratic National Committee's current nominee for President of the United States, Barack Obama. We will under no circumstance cast a vote in a primary or general election for Barack Obama. If Secretary Clinton's name is not on the ballot, we vow to request blank ballots on which we will write in the name of Hillary Clinton as our candidate of choice.

Madam Secretary, we need you now more than ever. The President has had his chance to do what he promised in the 2008 campaign. Now it's your turn to give your country the kind of real change we have been waiting for. It is your destiny.
