It appears that the petition "Support Global Food Security" (a),  has been removed as per our request, it has nonetheless been reposted under the new name of  "Tell Congress to Stand Against Global Hunger" (c).  As far as can be seen, this is the IDENTICAL petition in every respect to the one that has been removed.
THEREFORE: (a) = (c) except that the (a) LINK below no longer works.

Furthermore, all of the signatures from the first petition (a) have obviously been transferred to the second one.

Therefore, in actuality, our request has not been granted and everything said with respect to (a) also applies to this newly named petition (c).

1. According to this petition, "Support Global Food Security", Obama said programs like these "are not charity." (a) = (c) "Tell Congress to Stand Against Global Hunger"
He is right. What he is not telling us is that some of these programs are really HANDOUTS to Big Agro Biz.
Neither does this petition, "Support Global Food Security" (a) = (c) "Tell Congress to Stand Against Global Hunger", make this clear to us.

2. Without doing some research, people cannot know from the wording on this petition (a) = (c) "Tell Congress to Stand Against Global Hunger" 
that they are signing that they agree
--- that it is OK for our gov (which means taxpayers) to fund GMO propagation in Africa and South Asia and
--- that it is OK to fund tech methods such as "plant protection products"  (aka pesticides and a myriad of other poisonous, heavy-carbon-footprint manufactured chemicals)  -- DemocracyNow
which reputable scientists and farmers with long experience can SHOW do not give higher yields,
in fact quite the opposite.
GMOs are not sustainable food production methods and they are outrageously EXPENSIVE.
GMOs contaminate real DNA, have already caused catastrophic crop failures and could cause the irreversible extinction of species of plants they cross-pollinate.
The wind, birds and insects carry live pollen across the whole planet.
Monocultures are risky (at best!) esp in times of unpredictable weather due to Climate Disruption.

3. Further, people do not know from this "Support Global Food Security" petition (a) = (c)  "Tell Congress to Stand Against Global Hunger" that this bill, the Global Food Security Act of 2009, S.384 (b) gives Monsanto et al a mandate to control food production in Africa and South Asia.

4. The people of these under-developed nations have not agreed to have Monsanto and the like take over their food production.
This means that we in the USA have NO RIGHT to enact legislation (b) that affects their freedom of choice and their ultimate survival potential.  

5. This bill, the Lugar-Casey bill, S. 384, the Global Food Security Act of 2009 (b), will not help alleviate hunger in the world, it will only add extra expenses for already overburdened tax payers, funds that will end up in corporate pockets rather than actually helping the needy (or anyone else for that matter).
Meanwhile, more people than ever will starve and die because we ALL need
-- economical, eco-friendly ORGANIC farming practices,
-- freedom to provide for ourselves without corporate or gov interference-intimidation,

6. Corporations only care about their profits, in this case profits from American tax payers who will foot the bill without  even knowing where their money is going.
This constitutes taxation without proper representation.

7. Globular Corporations have received enough "Free Lunch" from the whole world already and they have shown us that they are not capable of giving back to the base upon which they depend for their sociopathic profits.
It is time to put an end to unaccountable corporate rule before it is too late to save ourselves and all life on earth.
