Dogs are man's best friend, loving, and kind animals. Conducting heart failure experiments on dogs will not help us gain all of the answers we need for human health as their bodies are not identical to ours. Also, to read about the pain and suffering some of these animals have endured in the name of science is heart breaking.

Stop using dogs in heart failure experiments

Greetings,

I just signed the following petition addressed to: Valerie Parisi, dean of the Wayne State University School of Medicine.

----------------
Stop using dogs in heart failure experiments.

Dogs are man's best friend, loving, and kind animals. Conducting heart failure experiments on dogs will not help us gain all of the answers we need for human health as their bodies are not identical to ours. Also, reading about the pain and suffering some of these animals have endured in the name of science is heart breaking.

Please reconsider Wayne State's policy and procedures on conducting research on dogs and domestic animals. Science can surely find the answers it needs without harming our potential pets.
----------------

Sincerely,

[Your name]
