For a very long time, Wattpad.com's rankings were based on what an author earned. For example, the authors who received the most reads and votes respectively would rise in accordance to their stats. This gave authors something to work for.

Now, Wattpad ranks stories based on whether or not they've been hand-picked (selected) as "featured" stories. These stories maintain a high ranking regardless of their stats, which makes the ability to vote futile and goes against the point of even having a ranking system.

This petition is to revert Wattpad back to the old rankings system.
