I am in desperate need of signatures to save six precious lives that are in grave danger through no fault of their own as a result of an act of retaliation on the part of the Washington County Humane Society. As a result of months of trespassing and harassment I called and filed a complaint with the director to stop it. For a few weeks the problem ceased until 5/2/2012 when an Officer Burger showed up at my door and demanded to see my dogs, saying that the only issue being my pit bull had a skin allergy and needed to go to the vet for it. When I said I would take her she said she would get a notice that she had notified me of this and went to her van. I watched her because of her history and after 10 minutes the police show up and she says she is taking my dogs, giving me no reason and showing me no warrant. After having the police threaten me with false arrest for exercising my legal right to order her off my property and to leave me alone, she stormed my house and proceeded to rip my six precious angels out of my arms while having the cops cuss me and proceeded to go through and photograph my house with no permission and no warrant. This is an unlawful search and seizure which is a violation of my 14th amendment rights and the fact that she took my service dog in training who is protected by the ADA, she violated two federal laws as well as a number of state and local ordinances. My dogs were well cared for and she had no right to take them from the only person they had ever known to care for them. Please, if you love animals or even if you don't but have a basic knowledge of right and wrong please sign this petition to demand retribution for this clear act of retaliation and to bring 7 year old Freya, 3 year old Teyla, 2 year old Brownie (my SDIT), 1 year old Cotton, 1 year old Sparkle and 6 month old Courtney home where they belong.
