The Registered Nurse Response Network and the National Nurses United—the nation's largest union of registered nurses—together with volunteer doctors and medics have been providing first aid to protesters at Zuccotti Park, and are concerned that as winter approaches, protesters are being exposed to severe weather that can put them at risk for hypothermia, respiratory illness, sleep deprivation and many other weather related diseases.
