Voter's Rights

The Issue

Voters have the right to know the source of the information in which he or she is using in order to make an informed decision. All Democrats voted yea on the Disclose Act while all Republicans voted nay. Republicans claimed that the bill would inhibit freedom of speech.

Is the American people's ultimate freedom of expression not done in a voting booth? And isn't intentionally limiting our knowledge when excersizing this right actually an attempt at obstructing it?
