Lamar Smith introduced and co-sponsored a bill called SOPA. The bill, which was heavily lobbied for by Hollywood and Corporate Entertainment, would regulate and censor the internet - threatening our nation's best source for innovation and communication. Smith's actions are not only irresponsible, but are also indicative of a larger problem in our Nation's Capital. Elected officials are introducing legislation not on behalf of those who elected them, but on behalf of their corporate donors. It's time for the people of TX-21 to stand up to Lamar Smith and send a message to Washington that when elected officials do not govern in the interests of the people, they will be voted out.

Early voting has already started. The Republican Primary is open to Republicans, Democrats, and Independents. Lamar Smith's primary opponents are Richard Mack and Richard Morgan. Vote for either of them, and we can force a run-off election if they get over 50% of the vote, combined.
