Lot's of ICT departments have installed the VMware View virtual Desktop infrastructure because it is one of the best solutions out there. One problem: only Windows desktops are supported. This while Linux desktops and Mac desktops are used in many workplaces or universities. We need to have other desktop pools too and cannot be satisfied with the Windows restriction!!
