The Dulles Greenway is a privately owned highway between Leesburg, Virginia and Dulles Airport.

 

The Greenway is owned by Toll Road Investors Partnership II (TRIP II) , which in turn is owned by the Australian private firm Macquarie Group.

 

Tolls on the Dulles Greenway are now $5.55 during rush hour -- or 40 cents a mile.

 

Compare that to most major toll highways -- less than 10 cents a mile.

 

We urge you to take action to roll back the outrageous tolls on the Dulles Greenway.

 

Congressman Frank Wolf (R-Virginia) calls the tolls "highway robbery."
West Virginia singer Angela Petry agrees.

 

She has released a song about the Greenway called "Highway Robbery."

 

"It's a disgrace," Wolf said. "Everyone knows that these tolls are ripping people off and there's not much we can do about it."

 

But there is something you can do about.

 

You can -- and should -- pass a law that rolls back the tolls on this "Commonwealth" highway.
