With no rivers or streams the islands of Tuvalu are dependent on rain water. Currently, the absence of rain has Tuvalu in a fresh water crises. While efforts are underway to desalinize sea water, conservation of fresh water is critical to the sustainable use of this priceless natural resource.

-Old Flush Toilets waste the most fresh water. Funds are needed to install 'Low Flow' toilets.

-Alternatively, fund a study into the feasibility of recycling 'grey water' as well as sourcing sea water for toilet use.

-A public outreach multimedia Water Conservation Campaign needs to be produced.

With Verisign dotTV branding on these initiatives their 'donation' is a small investment towards winning the hearts & minds of Tuvaluans, as well as renewal of the multi million dollar dotTV contract VeriSign currently has to administer Tuvalu's .TV internet domain extension.
