Supporting this petition will help to encourage an end to abusive dog training and trainers in Ventura county and at Ventura County Animal Services. Supporters of this petition say no to dominate theory dog trainers. Trainers that use force, intimidation, and violence to get the results they desire, such as strikes, slamming to the ground, pinning to the ground, flooding, kicking, choke collars, choking out the dog(hanging), helicoptering and other aggressive and harsh training techniques of beliefs. Supporters of this petition are asking that the County of Ventura Animal Services not encourage,support or recomend any trainer that uses or teaches dominate theory or any punishment based training methodology at the Ventura County shelter in Camarillo, Simi Valley or any Offsite event. Sign this petition and then email the CEO of Ventura County Michael Powers, the County Board of Supervisors, Cheif Deputy Director Barry Fisher, Interim Director Donna Gillesby and let them know that you are out raged that they have partnered with and support such a trainer.
