Cosmeston Medieval Village is a unique site in South Wales. It is a reconstructed Medieval Village Circa 1350.
It has, until recently, provided the local community and world wide heritage with a high level of historical interpretation. The Vale of Glamorgan Council have made the decision to change the facilities available to the public due to the need to make cuts in funding. The have removed the presence of living history interpreters who provide informative, first person tours of the site. They have removed the collection of authentic rare breed animals. They have halted the special events staged throughout the year, that provided the community with an opportunity to experience our heritage in a direct way.
