I have been a life-long advocate of credit unions. I've always appreciated the customer service, community focus and reliability I have found. This past weekend, the US Senate Federal Credit Union severely disappointed me with their mailing.

You can see more of the mailing here. The mailing exterior reads "Got Big Plans" After opening the first fold you read about products and services. Their contact information is provided on the right side. When you open again, there is a pop out of an image of a woman's cleavage in a white tank top. You cannot see her face, the focus is the cleavage. The text surrounding says " Please borrow responsibly!" and "GOT BIG PLANS? Let us worry about the money... you've got a lot of living to do."

I'm asking the US Senate Federal Credit Union to acknowledge the inappropriateness of this mailing and make a public apology. Please join me.

Let's help get this credit union back on track, serving the community in the respectable manner we deserve.
