Please Co-Sponsor S. 1834 / H.R. 3907

Dear Member of Congress,

The Pet Safety and Protection Act (PSPA), S. 1834 / H.R. 3907, is an important measure that has been introduced in four successive sessions of Congress, yet has failed to pass each year. I write to assure you that public interest in this bill remains strong, and to respectfully urge you to co-sponsor this critical piece of legislation.

The PSPA would help stop theft and fraud in obtaining animals to be used for research by disallowing the sale of animals by Class B dealers and the unscrupulous "bunchers" who round up - and often steal - animals for them.

While this bill is supported by countless American citizens, it has, regrettably, fallen by the wayside in Congress. I'm counting on you to bring it to the forefront. Will you please co-sponsor the Pet Safety and Protection Act and encourage your Congressional colleagues to join you?

Thank you for your kind consideration - I anticipate your response.

Respectfully,

[Your name]
