Dear friends, America's treasured wildlife is under siege. Animals risk being shot, trapped, poisoned, and bludgeoned simply for being in the "wrong" place at the wrong time. Honorable Members of Congress,

I write in support of The Protect America’s Wildlife Act of 2009 (H.R. 3381/S. 1535), which will safeguard vulnerable wolf populations in Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Utah, and Wyoming.

Currently, wolves are slaughtered in the most horrific ways imaginable, with no regard for the sustainability of their numbers. The Protect America’s Wildlife Act would prohibit the aerial hunting of wolves as well as any attempt to shoot or harass a wolf, bear, or wolverine for interacting with other populations of wildlife. In addition, under the Act, any efforts to control wolf populations must be based on the best scientific data available.

If you haven't already, I respectfully urge you to co-sponsor H.R. 3381/S. 1535. Thank you for your consideration and for helping to protect America's treasured wildlife.
