Right now the age of majority, the age where you are seen as a legal adult is 18 in the United States. This makes no sense! All other animals are seen as adults when they reach puberty, so why not human beings to!? Are we going to force adults to acts as children for longer than necessary? I understand and I have looked at the research to support the current age, but I see too many faults with it for it to be trusted. I am appealing to the government of the United States to lower the age of majority to match the age of biological adulthood puberty.
