GMOs, or genetically modified organisms, have not only ruined the biodiversity of crops here in the United States, the rest of the world has started feeling the pain of adopting Monsanto's patented seeds.

For those of you who don't know, Monsanto is the US-based biotechnology company responsible for 'Agent Orange', 'Roundup', and unfortunately most of the food crops you and I depend on.

The US Congress uses your tax dollars to line the pockets of this multi-billion dollar company; while Monsanto is busy putting small farms out of business. Small farmers can no longer replant their crops by reusing seeds. Instead they must buy new seeds from Monsanto each year. Thousands of farmers have been sued by Monsanto for reusing seed from their crops, claiming patent infringement. The terrible thing is that these small farmers simply cannot defend themselves against the army of lawyers that Monsanto can afford.

Please help send a message to Congress that using tax-payer dollars to put small farmers out of business is unacceptable.
