Recently, the president of Chick-fil-A, Dan Cathy, reaffirmed the company's anti-gay marriage stance and their allocation of funds to support organizations countering the marriage equality movement.

Since Chick Fil A is partially funded by state funds, the University system should take a stand against this kind of intolerance and bigotry that has no place in public education.

Places of higher learning have the opportunity to lead this fight against those who discriminate and demoralize other human beings based on misled religious zealacy.
