The Issue
A single generation ago it was deemed inappropriate to discuss interracial marriages in schools... this bright 5th grader's speech should be acknowledged, and light shed on the ignorance and bigotry inherent in denying him the right to give a speech about civil rights. Kameron's speech is about people's rights, an that is an eminently appropriate speech for school children to hear.
