An infestation of 'Sold', 'Let', 'For Sale', 'To Let' signs has taken over West Hampstead in recent years.

Many local estate agents have disregarded countless polite resident requests and laws that limit their use. Just like Hampstead residents have successfully done for Hampstead High Street (and many others), we are working with Camden Council to ban such signs on our lovely high street.  All we ask is that you sign this simple petition to help ban these signs.

This petition will be issued alongside a recent Council report to the UK Secretary of State for the Environment, Food & Rural Affairs at the end of February 2014 asking to put in place a 'Regulation 7' order making it illegal for Estate Agents to erect such signs. We aim with a successful implementation of the 'Regulation 7' that local Estate Agents will start obeying both laws and resident requests to keep these ugly boards to a minimum across the West Hampstead area.
