Dear Members of Congress: Please investigate the financial dealings of Rep Ed Whitfield and his wife, a lobbyist, with other lobbyists. Rep. Whitfield appears to have violated many of the Rules of Ethics including actively lobbying with his wife who is a lobbyist for HSUS. His activities with respect to HR 1518 include financial dealings with people he presented as witnesses at the hearing before the Commerce Committee. Hired witnesses even if hired after the fact should have their testimony viewed with extreme caution. Please investigate Rep. Ed Whitfield and help clean up politics. Thank you.
