Stop censoring tweets on behalf of the Russian government

The Issue

The Russian government is trying to take away the right to free speech by branding as "extremist" tweets that merely oppose the government's policies. It wants to crush dissent and create a country very similar to the USSR. Twitter should not participate in such actions, but it has agreed to do so.  Twitter should reverse this policy and refuse to censor any tweets in Russia.

Twitter should show commitment to basic human rights and freedom of speech as Google has done. Instead of secretly complying with the Kremlin's demands for censorship, as Twitter did, Google when faced with exactly the same demands in regard to its YouTube service filed suit against Russia in court and challenged the legality of Russia's demands. Twitter should do the same.
