Township of Langley: PROTECT the forested southerly portion of lot 27540 28th Avenue, Aldergrove,BC
The Issue
There is a proposed development of lot 28540. A large portion of this land is forested with many mature trees. There is also a tributary and forest swamp. This forest is part of a larger green corridor which follows Bertrand Creek. It is refuge for many wildlife. The preservation of this forest is important for the maintenance of a healthy ecosystem and creek. We are concerned citizens who would like the southerly portion (the bridge over the tributary and 20 lots) of the proposed development to be abandoned and the forest kept in its entirety and designed as Recreation/Education lands. The next meeting to discuss this proposed development is Monday, January 20th, 2014.
