Wouldn't you like to be able to skateboard in Boone?

Currently, there is a law in Boone stating that all skateboards, "coasters," and "toy vehicles" are illegal to be ridden on roads and sidewalks. ASU also has a restriction on skateboarding on-campus.

We are asking for a revision of Boone's current skateboarding law. We require a new law, similar to N.C. State University's Parking and Transportation Ordinance POL 07.60.1: 2.3 Skateboards/Roller Skates/In-line Skates.

Sign this petition to allow Boone the ability to have that mode of transportation without getting slapped with $50 tickets.
