With all of the recent announcements by various sports teams stating plans to make "It Gets Better" videos to support LGBT youth in a campaign against bullying based on an individual's sexuality, or what is percieved to be their sexuality.

As the recent winners of the Stanley Cup, the Boston Bruins are in the spotlight on a huge level, and now is the best time for them to speak out and tell LGBTQ youth that life does indeed get better. By speaking out, there is the strong possibility of the Bruins giving hope to thousands of people struggling with bullying worldwide.

It needs to be made clear that someone's race, religion, nationality, beliefs or sexuality is not of the highest importance, and that regardless of any of those things, a person is still a person.

Tell the Boston Bruins to stand up and make an impact beyond winning the Stanley Cup, tell them to give LGBTQ teens hope, and even better, a future.
