We believe that, in the rush to get oil out of the ground as fast as possible, state and federal officials are not protecting the rights of people who live and work in western North Dakota. The decisions we make today will affect future generations. The current way of developing our oil resources is ruining the natural, scenic, recreational, and economic future of the White Earth Valley. We believe the White Earth Valley should be protected from further oil development, pipelines and oil waste dumps.
