The Department of Community Governance

The Issue

"A key report about an issue critical to millions of Americans was changed by our own government, doctored without explanation or apology.  The government in point of fact lied to us, and again failed the working men and women of this country.  As in any conflict, truth is one of the casualties in this war on our middle class."  ---- Lou Dobbs

Dear America,

We must monitor those whom we vote for.  We must speak out to those whom we give the job.  Before we vote for a politician, we must know why.  We must ask ourselves:  What do we have to do in order for America to have a sustainable foundation?  How are we going to build a competitive nation?  When do we expect change to occur?  Where are we going to start?  Why do we need change in our foundation?-  Our government of broken promises has gone too far.  We must make that ultimate sacrifice and assure that the government of the "people, by the people, for the people, shall not vanish from the earth" as Lincoln expressed.

People of America should elect community leaders such as parents to organize events to raise money for scholarships, study abroad programs, shelters for those who are at risk, recreational centers and schools.  By doing so, community leaders should be able to receive funding from our government.
