STOP Monsanto from taking charge of the food supply in Africa.

The Issue

Farmers in Africa now practice sustainable agriculture and organic methods to produce their food. If Monsanto takes charge they'll flood the continent with Genetically Modified Seeds, which encourage the use of pesticides that will begin the decline of the family farms and their ecologically sound farming methods.

At some point Monsanto will insist the farmers start paying for their GMO seeds, which will destroy many of the farms we're seeking to help and further consolidate Monsanto's stranglehold on the world's food supply. This should be discouraged rather than assisted.

If we're serious about helping the plight of African farmers we need to find individuals and organizations that are truly beneficent rather than those with a hidden agenda. We should provide money so the farmers can continue and expand their sustainable farming methods to help the region.
