In 2011 the University of Missouri switched conferences from the Big 12 to the SEC. While this may have hurt the stability of the Big 12 the move's sole purpose was to give the University of Missouri more stability and security.

The University of Kansas has stated that they do not wish to continue to schedule Missouri putting years of history and fierce rivalry, dating back to the cival war, in jeopardy.

On behalf of the fans and students of both prestigious universities, we ask that both administrations put aside their differences for the sake of tradition. Without each other, the histories of both institutions would not be as rich.
