The UN is attempting to strip Americans of their gun rights thru the UN "Small Arms Treaty." The language of this treaty was developed in secret and all gun rights organizations and individuals were kept from participating. There is no doubt that the UN does not want the average citizen to be able to defend themselves with the best means available, personal firearms. If you doubt that, just look at the statue in the main plaza of the UN. It’s not a tank’s main gun that’s tied in a knot. It’s a uniquely American revolver -- closely resembling a Smith & Wesson, if not an exact copy. In other words, a defensive handgun. An icon of American independence. This is an insult to US history and the majority of honest gun owning US citizens. Any further US funding to the UN should be stopped until such time as the twisted gun statue is removed from the main plaza of the UN and destroyed.
