We, the people of Charlestown, and of surrounding areas, would like to bring back the annual Bunker Hill Parade Week Carnival during the 17th of June festivities.

We would like have the carnival during the 2013 Bunker Hill Parade Week.

 We believe that a Carnival would:

 

-Reconnect Townies to Charlestown

-Bring back nostalgic memories for older Townies

-Instill new memories for future generations of Townies

-Boost local economy for surrounding businesses

-Increase specatorship for the Parade

-Provide a fun and festive atmosphere for ALL AGES during Parade Week.

-Promote and increase funds for the Bunker Hill Parade

-Provide ample opportunities for local businesses and organizations to advertise

-Provide hope during a tough economic time, increase patriotism for Americans

 

The people of Charlestown would like to see this fun tradition of a Carnival to be resurrected for the Parade Week celebrations.
