The use of animals in the circus is extremely outdated. The way these animals are trained and treated is barbaric and horrendous. Elephants are beaten, poked, and prodded until they submit to trainers to do ridiculous tricks. Bullhooks and electric shock prods are used even on baby elepants. Bears, tigers, and chimpanzees are all beaten into submission and for what? Entertainment? If that's what it takes to entertain people in the 21st century there is something seriously wrong with our country. It's time to stop supporting this cruelty to animals. Enough is enough. The Hadi Shrine Circus needs to change their ways once and for all. No more animal cruelty for entertainment.
