Many decent men and women remain in Federal Prison unduly and wrongfully because politicians want to look "tough on crime". These are men and women whose crimes do not merit the length and severity of their sentences. Many endure "Life" sentences, with no possibility of parole based on the notorious "3 Strikes" Law.
