Dear Elected Officials,

Right now in the United States there isnt much hope that an immigration reform is on the way, especially for those of us (myself included) who are married to undocumented immigrants. I would like you to please do all you can to revise or all together reverse the 3/10 year ban for immigrants married to United States Citizens. This law is unfairly separating families and children. It causes many families to be put on state or federal assistance programs because of the loss income due to the denied entry of their spouses. The affect of the 10 year ban is heartbreaking and causing unnecessary divorces, financial hardships, and extreme emotional trauma for both the immigrant and the spouses and children left in the wake of this. This law is not serving the public’s best interest and puts an unfair stain on American Families. I beg you to do all that you can to change this law soon. Do not wait another 10 years, it hurts too many people.
