The citizens of Oklahoma voted to bar state judges from considering Islamic and international law in their decisions. No consideration should be given, regardless of the religion of the individuals, groups, or organizations involved, when deciding a case. This is not unconstitutional in any way. In fact, this should be a federal law and should not have to be decided on a state-by-state basis.The federal and state laws in the United States must be applied without consideration of an individual's religious beliefs or practices. The law is the law, regardless of religion. Therefore, it is in fact unconstitutional to block this law from taking effect. Sharia, and all other religion-based law, has no place in the United States and is not acceptable. Please reconsider your decision and allow the voices of the people of Oklahoma to count.
