We, the undersigned, oppose high-volume, slick water, hydraulic fracturing (aka fracking) and call on federal, state, and local officials to halt the activity in their jurisdiction.  In its current form, fracking and its related infrastructures pose a grave danger and threaten to cause widespread irreparable damage to public health, ecosystems, the long-term economic health of local economies, and the social fabric of our communities.
