Fact: Native Americans in the United States are the original and true Americans in the United States, parts of Alaska, and the island state of Hawaii; composed of numerous, distinct tribes.

Currently there is very little tolerance for illegals in the United States, specially Hispanics/Latinos.  To many people, if you are Hispanic/Latino, you are an illegal immigrant.  We are being labeled because of our ethnicity and skin color.  Illegals come and go from many different countries in the world.  You can be light skin, dark skin, black, brown or blond hair.  It doesn't matter!

Currently our country is one of the most diverse in the world.  Yet, many families are being separated.

Realistically, we all know the United States would not and will not be able to approve an amnesty for all of our immigrants. As sad as it sounds, it is impossible.

Why not give priority and the opportunity to those who are currently closer to legalization?  Many of our US Citizen children with immigrant parents have at least one parent who is either a permanent resident or a US Citizen.  Since Congress phased Section 245(i) out of the law many families are being forced to separate.   As a result, the illegal parent is being forced out of the United States, back to their country with a 3 to 10 year restriction bar upon returning to the U.S.  That is an abomination!!!

Illegal immigrants who entered the country legally or illegally and are married to U.S. Citizens/Permanent Residents and have US citizen children SHOULD be allowed to stay in our country.  Why? You ask yourself. The first reason would be to keep the families united.  The second one, would be based on their spouses and children’s legal status, these families deserve an opportunity.  An opporutunity to stay together during the process of legalization and try their best to live the American dream!

Amnesty for these individuals would be followed by additional restrictions and requirements.

We are not asking for the legalization of millions of immigrants but only for a reasonable percentage.   We live in the land of dreams and opportunities!

Family unification must remain a fundamental pillar in our immigration policies.

Please join me and many families.  Tell Congress and our President to work on a comprehensive immigration reform for us and for all of our children!
