Revise your decision to dismiss certain staff from Camp Blue Ridge

The Issue

This petition looks to address the overall negative ramifications that will occur from eliminating the experienced staff of Camp Blue Ridge. These members of staff in which your organization (Potomac Conference of Seventh-Day Adventists) are expecting to dispel are vital to retaining the spirituality of the camp, and have presented themselves in previous years to warrant no cause for change, and have impacted the camp by way of positively affecting the lives of campers and other staff members. We assert, therefore, that in order to guarantee the success of the camp it is imperative that these staff remain. This act of preservation to the already existing staff will ensure the camp's stability and help to sustain the primary message of the camp's ministry--to show campers the true love of Jesus Christ. Otherwise, the camp may be left to improper operators, and in turn the spirituality of the camp may become unsuitably diminished. This petition has been signed by members and attendees of Adventist churches, by previous Camp Blue Ridge staff members, and by others whom are advocates for the revision of this particular decision made by your organization.
