Introduce legislation to prevent animals from witnessing slaughter.
The issue
Right now, ex-racehorses are being lined up at knackeries across the country and shot in front of one another because they are no longer wanted. Until a retirement plan is established to stop these horses ending up at slaughter, we believe that the very least they deserve is to not have to witness being killed in front of one another.
