breed-specific legislation is costly, difficult, and almost impossible to enforce. it doesn't acknowledge the fact that a dog of any breed can become dangerous. there are 25+ breeds that can be mistaken for an american pit bull terrier. not every responsible owner can afford the new regulations. when they see that registration is ineffective it will turn to euthanasia. imagine how you would feel if someone said your preferred breed was to be banned, or euthanized. please open your hearts and help us stop breed-specific legislation.
