Jason has served 9 years of a 30 year prison sentence for the sales of marijuana. He was 19 when he was arrested and he thought he was invincible. He has since learned that he is not and fully understands the harm he has done to society. He has been reformed and is ready to come home.

We are asking that the Governor of Illinois grant a commutation of sentence (clemency). This commutation would still hold the guilty verdict and shorten Jason’s sentence to where he can be released now. He will be 30 years old in October and is a changed person. It is time for my son to come home.

Grant Jason Spyres’ (K99397) clemency (commutation of sentence)

Greetings,

I just signed the following petition addressed to: Illinois Governor.

----------------
Please Grant Jason Spyres’ (K99397) Clemency (commutation of sentence).

Jason has served 9 years of a 30 year prison sentence for the sales of marijuana. He was 19 when he was arrested and he thought he was invincible. He has since learned that he is not and fully understands the harm he has done to society. He has been reformed and is ready to come home.

Please Gov. Quinn, grant a commutation of sentence (clemency). This commutation would still hold the guilty verdict and shorten Jason’s sentence to where he can be released now. He will be 30 years old in October and is a changed person.

Thank you for your consideration in this important matter.
