This is a controversial issue of overwhelming importance to New Zealanders. The matter deserves the full attention of the public. A Citizens Initiated Referendum (CIR) would allow for a full and informed public debate on the subject.

The Government will be required to undertake a CIR if a valid petition is signed by at least 10% of the national electorate. A CIR will allow New Zealanders to deliver an unequivocal "Yes" or "No" to the ongoing debate over the sale of State Owned Enterprises. Get on board and have your say!
